I was out for a walk and a pray with my dog Tilly
today and saw all different kinds of people going about
their lives... As the sun was setting and the day was
coming to a close I wrote out this prayer in response…
Dear
God,
This is what I want…
I want the most people possible in the whole world to
know You…
I want to connect people with You God…
I want them to encounter You…
I want to encounter You…
Over and over until I’m changed…
Until this world is a better place…
Until we love…
Until there’s peace in our hearts…
Until families are reconciled…
Until the whole world is saved…
Jesus I want everyone to know what you did for us…
And for them to believe it…
To believe in You…
Whatever it takes…
Please make us whole…
This
is my prayer...

On Monday I had one of the best days of
my life (so far)… I saw the church mobilised into
action as over 500 young people, sold out for Christ,
gathered in the middle of bustling George St, Sydney to
love the people of our city… The event was called
‘Gen Y Say Thankyou’ and was part of the ‘Jesus.
All About Life’ campaign…
As the young people, all dressed in blue Jesus t-shirts,
gathered for prayer and worship led by Steve Chong (Rice
Youth) and myself… I knew that God was
smiling over us… The LUKAS boys and I had the honour
of playing right into the heart of our city while people
danced, enjoyed themselves and devoured the 2,000+ free
sausages, carrying Jesus signs all around the middle of
our beautiful Sydney streets… My heart was incredibly
moved as I saw homeless fed; and lost, hurting, and broken
people coming into contact with the authentic faith, hope,
joy and love filled Christians wielding ‘the only
answer to life’s questions’…
As I stood on the stage with microphone in my hand surrounded
by a sea of listening ears, I felt led to take a stand
for my Saviour… “Jesus said, I am the Way,
the Truth and the Life… No one comes to the Father
except through Me (John
14:6)… If you didn’t know that
or you’ve never heard that before, then you better
look into it and learn about it fast because your eternity
is a pretty important thing to consider…”
It was a huge buzz and the boys and I were so ridiculously
honoured to even be a part of it… We’ll never
forget it… Huge thanks to everyone involved in making
it happen…
